Our Process

Our Process

Custom woodwork: exotic aquarium

1. Discovery & Planning

Whether it’s a contemporary kitchen remodel, classic wood cabinets, custom made furniture or modern entertainment units, every project starts and ends with careful listening. We begin with a conversation about your needs, your vision for your space, your lifestyle and monetary investments.

2. Initial Design

Guided by our conversation and collaboration, it is our mission to bring your vision to life. Whether you are a designer or architect looking to bring your design to fruition or a homeowner with a big idea, we work closely with you to make it all happen.

Collaborative design by an expert team.

3. Review & Revisions

Through further discussion, we review and revise the drawings in accordance with your needs, to ensure each detail is exactly the way you’ve envisioned. We are dedicated to bringing your concept to life, and apply our years of industry experience to help you do that – navigating challenges, recommending enhancements, and pointing out potential pitfalls along the way. At Legacy Originals, we won’t move forward until you are completely happy with the final design.

4. Production

Your project is hand crafted at the Legacy woodworking shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our master craftsmen and cabinet makers create and assemble each piece to ensure it fits and functions flawlessly, down to the finest detail. When every piece has been inspected and approved, they are disassembled and the components are prepared for delivery and installation.

5. Delivery & Installation

Our team of highly skilled, Legacy trained installers place each piece with the greatest care, ensuring it fits correctly. If we are shipping abroad, Legacy Originals owner Stuart Reimer personally supervises the installation to ensure that each piece is placed perfectly.

6. Follow-Up

Our care for you is not complete until we walk through your finished space. Once your project has been completed, a member of our team will arrange to meet with you to ensure you are 100% satisfied. Every Legacy project comes with a lifetime warranty on all manufacturer’s defects (including mechanisms & materials), for original homeowners.
